I hope everyone had a great summer! By the time that you read this, Our Club will be gearing up for the upcoming season. Trail Trims are being held on every Sunday at 9:00am, meeting at the Whitcomb Summit Motel, on Route # 2 in the Town of Florida.
On July 17, 2010, our annual Pig & Putt Golf Championship was held at Louie’s Links in Florida. 120 golfers took to the course, and Frank Dapoli of North Adams was this year’s winner! Last Years Champion Paul Lesure had the pleasure of presenting Frank with the Prestigious Green Jacket. Club President Scott Fortini, Kyle Pellerin, and Bill Mcniece, did an outstanding job with the Pig. I would like to thank the Zelazo family for their continued support in letting us use their property for our Golf Course throughout the years. The Course was in excellent shape, and the weather was perfect! I would also like to thank all of the volunteers (to many to list) that helped out during the event, which made it a huge success! The Club donated half of the proceeds to the ‘Edward Zelazo Scholarship Fund’. I would also like to Congratulate Carrie Bourdon for shot on the ‘Closest to the Pin’ hole, and Shannon Rose, for the Hole In One!
